The introductory course „Serious play: Clowns and Tricksters 1“ is used to playfully experience and discover your personal individual clown figure and will further search for fun and playfulness, as well as pure naivety. Using the expression, presence and contact of the participants, the awareness and experience of the moment will be exercised, in order to “be” clear and emotionally transparent on stage and to share what the clown experiences. Distinguishing personal qualities and mistakes will be supported, so they can be put into service for clowning.

Mag. Christoph Schiele is working in the fine and performing arts, lives in Vienna and is working with internationally with and in various formations. He studied at the École internationale de théâtre LASSAAD and is the first artist living in Austria to graduate in the new circus area “Magie Nouvelle” from Centre National des Arts du Cirque in France in January 2021. His first contact with clowning happened exactly 20 years ago and he’s been burning for this special art since then. Until spring 2020 he worked for CliniClowns Austria. With his Cie Filou he will present his second solo performance using the style of “Nouveau Cirque” in April 2021; this time specifically for children +5 yo.
